An easy way to move objects within dashboards is to use the "Move this item" option ("Move this container" to containers) found in the "Manage objects" menu
When you click on the option, the item movement screen will open, select the item you want to move and click on "Click here to change the position of selected elements"
Moved objects will resize to the area chosen when moving the item.
